Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering & Technology, (GNET) understands the fundamental importance of well equipped infrastructure consisting of well furnished class rooms, provision of transport, arrangement of canteen caters with competitive rates, a library in promoting lifelong learning and improving the knowledge, skills and competence of its students. The Institute has from its inception a library with huge collection of materials apart from national and international journals and information centre with 8 Mbps bandwidth of exceptional quality and it has ever since strived to improve the high standards of this facility.

 

            The College has well-equipped and well-managed Computer Laboratories. The institution was always procured world class equipments from the leading and top most brands like IBM, HCL, and HP & Dell etc. LCD Projectors and interactive boards are available along with all necessary peripherals. The machines and programmes are continuously upgraded to ensure the market relevance of acquired skills. Internet (wireless) facility is even extended up to canteen.

 

            The College has facilities for both outdoor and indoor games. Its students have participated in university and state level in various games. Sport facilities are made available to all students.

 

 

Library:
 

            The College Library has large area and accommodates about 150 students for reading at any time. The Library has number of volumes of books and maintains open access facility for students and staff members. The Library has a reprographic section to meet the requirements of students and staff. It subscribes different journals of both national and international repute including online journals.

 

Internet Facility :

 

            College is having 8 Mbps Internet connection, locally networked and connected through wi-fi to the central server.  The  facility is available for students for their project work and preparing seminar presentations.  It is accessible  to e-books, study materials, etc. through the college Local Area Network. The facility is available to students 24x7.

 

 

Sports & Gymnasium:

 

          Students are encouraged to engage in physical activities at the college campus for overall personality development. The College has a well planned out door stadium, Basket Ball Court, Cricket and Volley Ball grounds. The college has a gymnasium with all the latest equipment for students who are fitness enthusiasts.

 

 

Cafeteria:
 

           The cafeteria  in the college is  the hub of every student activity. Students throng the cafeteria and help themselves to a variety of tasty foods which of course comes at a very nominal rate. The canteen provides delicious and hygienic South Indian, North Indian and Chinese food (Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian).

 

 

Open Air Auditorium:

 

           The college has a huge open air auditorium where cultural events, annual days, meetings, inter-college events are held. 

 

 

Hostel:
 

            The college offers  good accommodation with separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel provides hygienic and quality food to suit diverse tastes and preferences. The hostel rooms are provided with fans, tables, chairs, cupboards, beds, attached bath and 24 hour water supply.

 

 

Reprographic Service :

 

           One Xerox Machine is provided in the library for the students to photocopy any study material from textbooks and journals.

 

Transport:

 

           Institution has its own fleet of 36 buses plying from all corners of twin cities. They are comfortable and safe. Apart from the college buses, a number of APSRTC buses reaching the college well in time and a bus stop available at the college gate.  

 

 Dispensary:

           The college has also made arrangements with doctors to attend emergency cases at all times.
