Welcome to Guru Nanak Institute of PG Studies (MBA)

Guru Nanak Institute of PG Studies-MBA was started in the year 2008 to launch Management Education programs, MBA and PGDM, with a cutting-edge, innovative process that can make a difference to executive career aspirants and working non-MBA managers. Both the programs are approved by All India Council of Technical Education; while MBA is JNTU-affiliated, PGDM is an autonomous course with the best curriculum of global standards.

Our Approach to Learning

These programs are intended to prepare young managerial - career aspirants and working executives with the managerial skills most relevant to current challenges of globalization and digitalization. Towards this end, Innovative pedagogy, rigorous learning, case method approach, experiential learning, out-bound training and suchlike are employed as learning and teaching tools.

Besides, it also uses a wide variety of conventional and modern methods like guest lectures, role-plays , simulation, video shows, group discussions and so on. Evaluation system, which is rigorous and counseling-dominant, comprises assignments , mid-term exams, special tests, case analyses, classroom presentations, and  semester -end examinations.

Self-study, group presentations, highly scientifically designed dissertation program, short industrial visits, short capstone projects, open-ended discussions, interactions with industry experts and the like are all integrated and closely monitored so the final product is outstanding, competent, and relevant, no matter how the business scenarios change cataclysmically.

Professional skills can be best learnt and imparted through theoretical concepts followed by application of the gained insights to real- life situations.  Having adopted this holistic approach, we religiously stick to values, discipline, focus, and learning.

A cent-percent attendance in classrooms is insisted upon, although university rules require a minimum of 75%.
