Facilities at GNIPGS:

Guru Nanak Institutions are known to highly intensified infrastructure facilities and is one of the top most Colleges in the twin cities to assimilate that it is on par with the surroundings.

ILibrary:

Well stocked and fully computerized library offers different titles in various management and non management related areas.   It is one of the most exhaustive library supports with Wi-Fi facility.  It is the source of leading business magazines and journals, latest management books, foreign and Indian business journals and periodicals, audio-video CD – ROMs.   The library also has information of large no of companies and product profiles etc.

Hostel :

Living on GNIPGS campus is on of the key success ingredient to an intensive and effective learning experience, which is well articulated and highly configured with a homely atmosphere that enable high amount of receptivity levels of belonging.

Hostels are provided with facilities like water filters and coolers, coffee vending machines, washing machines.   In addition, hostel also has gymnasium in student activity centre.Hostel rooms are equipped with 24 hours internet leased line which is connected through internet of the Institution.

Book Bank Scheme

This scheme runs on the premise that each student should posses at least one text book for each subject throughout his/her 4 years of study. Procuring these books from the market is arduous and expensive proposition and also some editions are not available in the market. Book bank scheme is devised to overcome this problem. Large number of students are availing this facility.

Student Facilitation:

Student manuals prepared as per ISO standards are given to each student regular mentoring / counseling of students is provided Lab manuals for all labs are given to students regular students feedback is taken for improvements seminars by industry professionals and academicians student seminar competition guidance in paper writing and presentation Mock interviews and career guidance separate projects room in every department.

Health care centre:

Local doctor is available during the college hours.  However, a full fledged first aid centre with a dedicated assistant is functioning in the campus to attend to the needy.   The college has also made arrangements with doctors to attend emergency cases at all times.

Sports & Gymnasium:

Students are encouraged to engage in physical activities at the campus for the overall development of personality. The Colleges have a well planned out door stadium, Basket Ball Court, Cricket and Volley Ball grounds. Sports activities are regulated through the sports committee. Students have represented the college in several Sports meets at the University Level. An annual Sports day is conducted and prizes awarded to teams and individuals who prove their mettle. The college has a gymnasium with all the latest equipment for students who are fitness enthusiasts.

Cafeteria

The two cafeterias in the college are the hub of every student activity. Students throng the cafeterias and help themselves to a variety of tasty foods which of course comes at a very nominal rate. The canteen provides delicious and hygienic South Indian, North Indian and Chinese food (Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian).

Audio Visual Centre

The Audio Visual Centre is designed to help students develop effective communication skills and presentation capabilities in academic and professional settings. These interactive activities focus on work environments and real life situations.

Auditorium:

Air Cooled auditorium to accommodate 600 students which is used for interactive sessions, seminars, workshops etc.

Open Air Auditorium:

The campus has a huge open air auditorium where cultural events, annual days, meetings, inter-college events are held.  The auditorium has an overall seating capacity of about 2000.

Cultural Activities

To promote the cultural activities frequent events are conducting in grant manner. During College Day,  cultural events like Singing, Anthakshari, Light & Classical music, Dance, Mimicry, Dumb Charades etc and  Literary Events Competitions like Essay writing, Elocution, Debate, Group discussion, Quiz, are conducted .Extra–circular Events like painting, flower-arrangement, card-board arrangement, vegetable carving, classroom decoration etc. are also arranged. Prizes are given in all activities.

Transport:

College has its own fleet of 35 buses plying from all corners of twin cities. They are comfortable and safe.  Apart from the college buses, a number of APSRTC buses reaching the college well in time and a bus stop available at the college gate.

Internet Facility:

College is having 8 Mbps Internet connection, locally networked and connected through wi-fi also to the central server are available for students for their project work and preparing seminar presentations.  It also access to e-books, study materials, previous question papers , teaching schedules, internal marks, attendance, daily circulars,  etc. through the college Local Area Network. The facility is available to students 24x7.
